Jane Jenkin is a visual artist from Birregurra, Southern Victoria , working across drawing, painting, and digital mediums. Her atmospheric, sometimes playful work is often an exploration into the natural world and the theories behind its structure and constant reformation.
Her work frequently explores the creation of ecological worlds and futures from a perspective of abundance and plenitude.
After completing a Degree in Visual Arts at Deakin University Geelong in 2022, Jane has had two exhibitions at Birregurra Art Gallery, Horizon 2024, a series of oil paintings based upon the twelve elements of nature, and Glitch 2024-2025, a series of digital images relating to memory .
Her work has been featured in Art Edit Magazine 2024 and has recently launched a select collection of merchandise stemming from her original prints.
Jane has been a member of the Birregurra Art Show committee for three years and has just commenced volunteering at the Geelong Art Gallery.
