Geoff Newton is owner and director of Neon Parc, a commercial art gallery which represents over 25 Australian and international artists, operating galleries in three locations in Melbourne since 2006.
Newton is a passionate advocate for contemporary art, promoting artists to both domestic and international audiences through regular curated exhibitions and participation in the international art fair circuit internationally.
In 2013 Newton was named by BLOUIN ARTINFO as one of the ‘ten international curators you need to know’ and in 2016 Apollo Magazine included him in their ‘40 UNDER 40 ASIA PACIFIC’ Issue.
He is one of the founders of Spring1883, a gallerist lead art fair established in Melbourne by Kate Barber, Vikki McInnes and Vasili Kaliman, which has been produced as an event in both Sydney and Melbourne since 2014.
He is an approved Valuer under the Commonwealth Government Cultural Gifts Program, since 2011.
